St Matthews in the City & The Northern Club

Jordan & Pete were married in St Matthews Church in the city, Auckland. There was a slight panic the morning of when the building next door caught FIRE! There were road closures and everything ya’ll but alas, all came right by the time these two were ready to get hitched. Jordan wore a Vinka Design Dress with the most gorgeous modern chic sleeves accompanied with Chanel shoes and a touch of spring colour in the bouquet by Leaf & Honey. Pete wore a tux by Working Style and got ready at the Northern Club with his mates. They had decided not to have a bridal party and maximise that time spent with guests and also get time to themselves during the portrait session which is a trend that I’m really on board with. These two met and were engaged within a few months and I gotta say, I love a whirlwind story. A year later they were married surrounded by their family and in style that was bespoke to them and all the things they love. Auckland city is actually so beautiful and the Northern Club is one of its architectural treasures, built on a street that has that New York brown stone Brooklyn feel to it which is just chefs kiss for a modern city chic wedding. The Caker really knocked it out of the park with that three tiered beauty and as always, it was a treat to have Patty Lagera shoot video alongside with me, Thank you so much Jordan & Pete for having me capture your beautiful wedding day.
