9. Bracu
Settled amongst lush New Zealand olives, Bracu offers a stunning scene for walks with your loved one and an epic high ceiling hall to host your reception as you cheers the night away (perfect for hanging plants FYI)! The built in Marquee will keep you covered in the event of wet weather and the grounds make for easy and accessible pics not far from your guests. P.S my fav is the large iron gate! Perfect for bridal party and portraits with your new hubby/wife. Also worth mentioning is the hill 1 min up the road that is-the-best for sunsets!!! Located in the Bombay Hills.

8. Mantells Mt Eden & Mantells On The Water
Iโm slightly cheating by cramming two venues into one here but both venues are beautiful depending on your vibe! Mantells on the water hosts a sleek and modern look that takes a nod to its stunning location on Auckland's waterfront. Amazing food, wet weather approved and a gorge veiw out onto the Auckland harbour. Mt Eden has more of a rustic garden feel with fire pits, creeping ivy and columns for days ooosh!

6. Holy Trinity Cathedral & Kings College Chapel
For the more traditional bride & groom lets not forget our beautiful churches! Stained glass windows and wooden pews will have you saying I do for all the right reasons. The Holy Trinity in Parnell and Kings College Chapel in Otahuhu have this in spades! This venue would be ideal for those getting married in the winter months and want a safe a beautiful ceremony spot to say I Do.

5. Hedges Estate
Hedges describes their venue as laid back and elegant and I would say they've flippin nailed it! Whether your vibe is a wooded glade or classic french pavilion Hedges has you covered! There's a room on site for bridal prep and their spacious reception hall can be transformed into your ceremony space should the heavens decide to open. Oh and did I mention there's ponies!!! Stunning rolling hills right on the door step you needn't travel far for those portraits. The location is slightly further a field out in Waiuku but worth the travel cause its so incredibly gorg.

4. GLASS HOUSE - MORNINGSIDE
Urban garden chic this is the only indoor venue that has all the look and feel of being outside without all the question marks that come from being outside! The Glasshouse is ready for your styling vision though a little goes a long way in this already abundant and beautiful venue for the modern and glamourous. You can easily have all your photos taken here, there are so many beautiful spaces and then theres morningside right on your doorstep!

3. Mudbrick - Waiheke
Such a classic and for good reason! This is one for the modern boho wine loving bride. Iโll let the images speak for themselves on this one. The hill out the back is magic and the service and food is second to none. Mudbrick can be styled a little or a lot and look incredible either way! The lodge at the top of the hill has an outdoor and indoor ceremony spot so you are sweet whatever the weather and the restaurant down the hill never ceases to impress.

2. Kauri Bay Boom Rock
There is a special place in my heart for Kauri Bay, the wedding arches, the views, the farm, the foooood! Kauri Bay pour so much love and dedication into each wedding itโs not hard to see why they are so highly rated and loved by all their couples. Their modern farm look is gorg, you can get hitched in the evergreen valley or atop the cliff overlooking the east coast ocean. Give your guests a little thrill and hit some balls off the hill, be wined and dined by their impeccable staff (who love us photographers too but this hasnโt swayed my opinion, sort of) and melt into each other on their highest point as the sun goes down. High ceilings and beams are a stylists heaven! in case of rain there is a covered area on the front porch by the firepit.

1. Jonkers Farm
My personal number 1! Jonkers is a functioning farm and wedding venue all in one. The Jonkers family take so much pride in hosting beautiful weddings these hills are alive with the sound of awesome. Their farm is your backyard, not many places are off limits making for endless photo opportunities and the sunsets OH MY GOD!!! I live, then die, then live again. Their huge barn is well equipped for receptions, bands and caterers as well as being your legit wet weather plan. Access around the farm is by chauffeured buggy, not to mention the bridal party truck which is super cute and will fit all your friends! Fancy a tent or marquee? Thereโs room to spare.
